McCabe’s East Coast Forklifts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Technician to join our service team. If you know forklifts inside and out — from gas and diesel to electric and lithium-ion — and you take pride in precision, this role is for you.

 

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on all makes and models of forklifts (internal combustion & electric).

• Perform preventative maintenance, safety checks, and inspections.

• Troubleshoot lithium-ion battery systems and charging equipment.

• Accurately document service work using service software or repair orders.

• Train junior techs, share knowledge, and lead by example.

• Occasionally work at customer sites.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in forklift/equipment repair

• Deep understanding of IC, electric, and lithium-ion forklifts.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer-first attitude.
